Will
A will lets you decide who receives your property, who will manage your estate and, if you have children, who should care for them if you cannot.
Overview
A will lets you decide who receives your property, who will manage your estate and, if you have children, who should care for them if you cannot.
In Quebec, a will can be made before a notary, before witnesses, or written entirely by hand. A notarial will is kept by the notary, is recorded in the provincial register and does not need to be verified by a court after death.
